You are defined by independence. The purpose of your life is to seek out success, to find all glories. You are not to be controlled by others; you are not to be forced to their principles. Instead you wish only to do what you please and reap the benefits. The rewards will be great, you’re certain, when they’re not achieved through compromises. They’ll be earned instead through simple effort — yours.
But the world of industry seems determined to make this a challenge. You aren’t allowed to excel as you want. You instead receive constant demands, pleads, refusals. None seem to recognize your value. They merely seem frustrated by it, wincing every time you deny the need for help.
You’re trying to project strength. In truth, however, you are merely projecting arrogance.
Business is not composed of singular efforts. It’s instead meant to be shared among the masses, with each worker contributing what they can. Individuals share explanations and advice, aiding each other to ensure the process is a smooth one. When you deem yourself above all of this, however, you succeed in causing trouble — and branding yourself too wild to be part of a team.
No leader can be considered unapproachable. No promotion can be offered to those who won’t ask for aid. This is a simple fact but one too many ignore (including you). You must not be afraid to call on others. They offer unique experiences and talents that can assist you. They can provide opinions that will bolster your own. Trying to propel your career to the next level becomes a near impossible thing, however, when you won’t do this.
It shouldn’t be considered a weakness. It should instead be recognized as a necessity.
You can’t tame finance on your own. You must instead rely on others to share the burden and help you move forward. Seek advice and utilize the benefits. There are many — and each is needed.
